The United States School of Log Building has been owned and operated by Mr. Robert
Schroeder since 2000. It is located on 16 acres in Northeastern Minnesota's forest and lakes
region. The school has an international draw, with students attending from as
far away as Switzerland.
When not teaching at his school Robert teaches masonry and stone work trades at the
Mesabi Range Community/Technical College in Eveleth, Minnesota. Robert is also a
professional member of the Great Lakes Log Crafters Association.
All those interested in attending either the school's Log Building Course or
the Stone Work Shop are encouraged to print out, complete and return
the application included with the course information on this web site.
